Description: Merchandise is the souvenir, licensed memorabilia and clothing for your team. The Merchandise page is where all of your merchandise contracts are purchased. Merchandise generates revenue for you every day (no matter if you are home, away, or even playing a game). The more contracts you have, the more revenue you will make. It is important to note that merchandise typically doesn't bring in as much revenue as concessions at one time, but it is a more steady stream of income.

Buying Contracts: The merchandise screen displays all the contracts that you currently have (and their expiration) on the left of the screen. The two columns on the right of the screen will display all the merchandise contracts that you have not purchased yet. To buy one (or multiple) contracts, check the box in front of the contract and click the "Buy" button at the bottom of the screen. If you have enough money the contracts will be added to your list of "Current Contracts" on the left. Please note that you must first withdraw money from the bank in order to purchase contracts. Only cash will be used when determining if you have enough money. This is to protect any bank money from automatically being used in the purchase of contracts.

Multi-season Contracts: Non-subscribed team's merchandise contracts last one season. If you subscribe your team mid-season, contracts automatically become two seasons (if they were purchased during the current season). Subscribed team's contracts last two seasons. If your subscription expires mid-season, all contracts revert back to one season. If you re-subscribe during that same season, the contracts will go back to two seasons. Only subscribed teams enjoy the benefit of two season concession contracts.

Expiration: Contracts all expire on the last day of a season. The last day of a season is defined as the day in which your team's record becomes 0-0. This is a few days after the champion is crowned. It is therefore unwise to purchase any contracts at the end of a season. It is best to purchase those contracts as early in the season as possible. If you cannot afford them early in the season it is probably best to save your money until the following season and purchase then.

Merchandise Revenue Factors: Merchandise revenue mostly relies on two factors, fame and merchandise contracts. The higher a team's fame, the more money they make on merchandise. Likewise, the more merchandise contracts they have, the more money they make. It is important to note that this is not fame rank, it is raw fame. Although a team may assume that any team with a higher fame rank would make more money on their merchandise contracts (if they have the same level of contracts) each additional point of raw fame will help a team make more. You are not limited by your fame rank. For example, if a team is a 16 fame rank team entering the season and spend $1,000,000 on advertising every night to increase their fame, they will undoubtedly see increases in merchandise revenue by the end of the season even if the fame rank is still 16. Fame rank is merely a gauge by which one can measure themself versus other teams in the league, it is not a measure that effects merchandise revenue calculations.
