Description: The spread offense positions players around the perimeter and continually passes the ball between those players. Often a player will break off and cross the key looking for an opportunity to get open. The spread forces inside zone's to come out to cover the shooters on the perimeter, thus, opening up gaps in the zone for the cutting players.
